Here at My Table, we don’t think you ever need a reason to drink margaritas on a Sunday, but here it is: National Margarita Day is this Sunday, February 22. Here are a few restaurants and shops celebrating with noteworthy specials and events. Which fiesta will you attend this weekend?
Cacao & Caradmom‘s Tequila & Chocolate Tasting is happening tonight, Friday, February 20, from 7 to 10 pm. Juan Pablo DeLoera, Milagro Tequila ambassador for Texas, will team up with chocolatier/Cacao & Caradmom owner Annie Rupani to teach guests about the history of chocolate and the proper way to sip on fine tequila. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
Pistolero‘s National Margarita Day Parking Lot Festival will begin at noon this Sunday. There will be live music performances by Zenteno Spirit and Sister Sister as well as art vendors from First Saturday Arts Market. Click here for a list of vendors. Picos is hosting a weekend-long celebration with $8 shaker margaritas made with 100% Blue Weber Agave Silver Tequila, Cointreau Orange Liquor and fresh lime juice. Enjoy them all weekend long from Friday, February 20, to Sunday, February 22.

Sylvia’s Enchilada Kitchen will celebrate National Margarita Day on Sunday from 11 am until close at all three locations (6401 Woodway, 12637 Westheimer and 1140 Eldridge Pkwy). All of the restaurants’ house margaritas — frozen or on the rocks — will be available at the $4 happy hour price.
Molina’s Cantina will offer the Molina’s margaritas made with fresh lime juice, Triple Sec and 100% agave tequila for $5 all day Sunday (photo below).
Catina Laredo is beginning celebrations today, Friday, February 20, with $8 Patrón ritas made with Silver Patrón and Patrón Citrónage Orange Liqueur. The special continues through Sunday.
El Big Bad is offering $5 house margaritas all Sunday night beginning at 5 pm. Guests can also enjoy $15 mix-and-match infused margaritas.
