Bust out the baskets, y’all – the bunny is back. Want to freshen up this year’s Easter basket or table decor for your sweetie, guests or the kids in your life? Here are a few items worth hopping over.

Want to decorate springtime cookies without mussing up your kitchen? Michael’s Cookie Jar is hosting an Easter edition of their cookie decorating class. The session is this Saturday, April 15, beginning at 11 am, and you can use the frosting selections and decorations at the bakery to jazz up three supplied “blank canvas” cookies, then take them with you. Eat them yourself while you hide from the world over the weekend, or share them with friends and family on Sunday at brunch. For event details, click here.

La Table has gone all out at their downstairs market and bakery Macarons. From chocolate rabbits made from chocolate eggs, to macarons and sugar cookies the Galleria-area French restaurant and market has take-home treats designated for Easter celebrations.

They might be a little tough to hide: D’Amico’s in Rice Village has brought back their imported Italian chocolate eggs, available now. The large milk chocolate eggs are $8.99 (shown below) and one, two or three could certainly decorate your dining room table for a celebration this Sunday. Quantities are limited, so scoop up yours today.

Out on the west side of Houston, Ooh La La is showcasing coconut cupcakes and wee little rabbit-shaped macaron (below) for Easter. (The cupcakes look like eggs when you cut them open.) Visit any of the three locations to purchase or order them in advance for your Easter celebration.
