This should be called Brunch Date on a Dime, but seeing as this offer is good for the entirety of Stone’s Throw operating hours on Sunday (2 pm to 2 am), it works for both occasions on Sunday Funday.
Here is the deal: Purchase any of the new Sunday drink specials developed by bartenders Rex Nielsen and Jon Crager at Stone’s Throw such as the Morning Wood (shown above) or the Garden Party (below) and get a scone with all the fixins’ from nearby neighbor bakery Common Bond for just $1 more. The scone will come straight to your table alongside your cocktail while you sip and mingle at Stone’s Throw.
Choose your preferred scone flavor such as health nut, ham and cheese and vanilla sugar and indicate if you want your pastry warmed or served at room temperature. Accompaniments such as whipped butter and seasonal jelly will be served alongside your carbolicious treat. Want to drink your usual and nosh, too? Scones will also be available for purchase at Stone’s Throw on Sundays (a la carte) for $5 each.
More of a savory drinker? Choose from standard, pickle or steak mix when you place your order for a Bloody Mary ($8), which also features a house-made spice mix, lime juice, olive juice and hot sauce.
For regular sluggers of the Champagne Sundays long hosted by Stone’s Throw, don’t worry – your bubbly specials aren’t going anywhere. Guests can still get a glass of Chandon brut for $7 or a bottle for $25. The $1 scone offer, however, doesn’t apply here.
