Local restaurants are supporting The Thread Alliance's efforts by offering a “blue plate special” during April 2017, Child Abuse Prevention Month, and donating a percentage of the proceeds to The Thread Alliance. Click to see participating restaurants.

The annual San Leon Oyster fest will feature live music, oyster contests, oyster cook-offs and all-you-can-eat of the freshest and most sustainably managed oysters along the Texas Gulf Coast. Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the gate.
