Goode’s Armadillo Palace (5015 Kirby) is hosting the inaugural Craw-Wish Boil this Saturday, May 11, from noon to 4 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and all proceeds will be donated to the Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana Make-A-Wish chapter. This evening (Friday, May 10) kicks off a week of Mediterranean-influenced culinary events hosted by the Italian Cultural & Community Center. Tonight at 6:30 pm at the Four Seasons Hotel (1300 Lamar) both ICCC members and non-members are invited to enjoy different regional cuisines and demonstrations from chef Maurizio Ferrarese (Quattro, Piedmont region), Renato De Pirro (Ristorante Cavour, Tuscany), Giancarlo Ferrara (Arcordoro, Campania) and celebrity chef Roberto Lombardo (Sicily).
