These mugs are in near-immaculate condition. It appears that they are hand painted and that they’ve never been used. Each has a slightly different look and feel. No cracks, chips or other flaws to the interior or exterior sides of the mugs. (For detailed photos, scroll down.)
The bottom of the mugs do have some minor paint chips, probably from being slightly stuck to the surface of a shelf for many years.
Each mug is matte brown on the outside and has a glossy eggshell white interior and lip.
Each mug is signed Edward DON Company on the bottom. Edward Don & Co. has been a leader in restaurant supply for nearly 100 years. They have confirmed that this is deadstock and has not been in production for at least 20 years.
These mugs have some heft to them.
