Tomorrow, Saturday, August 20, the Houston Texans will play their second pre-season game against the New Orleans Saints at NRG Stadium. And this year, game-goers have more to look forward to than just the action on the field. The Houston Texans and Aramark have been working on new and improved concessions to “enhance the in-stadium experience.”

This year’s food partners at NRG Stadium include chef/restaurateur Chris Shepherd, Holmes Smokehouse, Fuddruckers, Genghis Grill, Berryhill Baja Grill, chef/restaurateur Ronnie Killen (a Houston Texans players’ favorite) and others.

Different menu items will be served at different sections in the stadium. Be sure to check out Killen’s famous brisket “stak” featuring waffle fries, pepper jack cheese sauce and Killen’s in-house smoked brisket at sections 103 and 123. More of Killen’s dishes – like brisket and turkey sandwiches – can be found at sections 109 and 129.

Berryhill Baja Grill’s Korean fried chicken taco (photo below) is also a new and noteworthy dish. Created by Berryhill’s new consultant corporate chefAlvin Schultz (known for competing on Fox’sMasterChef Season 2 and his culinary services company Eat.Drink.EXPERIENCE!), the taco features corn tortilla-coated chicken strips tossed in Korean chili sauce and topped with cilantro, scallions and house-pickled cucumbers. Pick up this taco at section 135.
